hello all.

I am a young mechanical engineer currently working in Tanzania. (from Zimbabwe though) I have learnt to paraglide and now want to paramotor so i have started making an electric one.

I have zero experience with dc power, RC toys or anything powered flying related but i have done lots of DIY self designed projects, and have lots of experience with petrol powered things. This project has been a great way of learning about DC power, motors, receivers, batteries etc.
I have spent numerous hours going through the content of this forum and have learnt a lot from everyone. Thank you!

I shall post details of my design in the project section with some pics .

Welcome to the community.

One small recommendation ... find some lighter karabins :P

Joking aside. Looking forward to following your project.
